Studio Update Week 3

October 23:
Just finishing up our 2nd week here in NC the weather has been nice and everyone has been very chill. Blake smashed through the bass lines in 3 days and by the end of today Joe should be done 4 tunes. Were gettin closer and each day that passes the album becomes more godly. Its sounding HUGE!! Peter is the perfect guy to work with for this album, he brings out the best talent in all of us, everyday we learn somethin new. By Sunday Jason and I should be heading back in the room to start tracking our overdubs and solos to finish of the album.

Studio Update from Blake #2

October 17:
After one week in Old Town Recording Studio in Winston Salem North Carolina, Gunz and Jason are on the last two songs for rhythm guitar and this is by far the best and tightest guitar sound Remain has used to date. With the direction and influence of Peter Wichers the guitar work is reaching levels Remain had yet to achieve. After today the rhythm guitars will be done and bass is scheduled to start sunday morning. With that process being planned for 3 days the vocals and leads should be starting mid next week. If the sound of the drums and guitar so far are a prediction of things to come, the vocals and bass are going to complete the most musically sound album Remain has released to date.

Studio Update from Blake

Its the third day of recording drums at The Studio, here in Philadelphia and everything is going great. Judd is nailing his takes and is moving along at a good pace. With four songs already in the bag the rest of the album will be a breeze for him. Peter is great at recording and is a good influence at the helm. With the way things are looking this is going to be one heavy album, and our best material to date.
The experiences of being in a studio of this caliber is a great learning experience which all of us are soaking up, and talking to Larry Gold has made us look at the world of music in a different light. All and all this is an amazing experience so far, and I imagine will continue to be amazing.... time to go run up the stairs like Rocky!

Big News from GunZ

Its official Remain will be workin with Peter Wichers (soilwork) for our next album. Recording starts in Oct.
Also we're featured in an independent horror film called The Tainted more details soon.
You've probably heard that in a couple of months you'll be able to order us in your local music stores HMV, Sunrise etc and download us from the top download sites I Tunes Puretracks, Rhapsody, Amazon, Napster etc.

After arriving in Indianapolis we (Remain) discovered that the event had been canceled.
With this being said We would like to thank everyone who worked there ass's off to get a show together in 3 hours so that bands who had traveled from all over would get a chance to play.

The Big Fuckin' Rock show has been Moved to a new date, TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!

We will be heading south this month. Playing in Nashville on the 26th at the Muse, and Playing The Indianapolis Metal Fest on the 27th!

We will be in Sudbury again on November 18th to share the stage with Sepultura!

Writting for the next Remain album is underway! Two songs completed!
